An anti-social behaviour order (ASBO) can be given to anyone aged over ten years old whose behaviour is causing a problem.

Anti-social behaviour refers to different activities that cause nuisance.

These include:

  • Nuisance neighbours.
  • Being rowdy.
  • Intimidating groups taking over public spaces.
  • Vandalism, graffiti and fly-posting.
  • Dealing and buying drugs on the street.
  • Dumping rubbish and abandoning cars.
  • Begging and anti-social drinking.
  • The misuse of fireworks.
