Employment tribunal A panel of three people, at least one of whom is legally qualified, that hears disputes between employers and employees about employment rights.
European Convention on Human Rights An agreement originally set up in 1950 which 45 European countries have now signed. It is designed to protect the human rights of people in their everyday lives. The agreement lists a number of human rights including the right to life, the right to a fair and public trial within a reasonable time and the right to freedom of expression.
Facilitator Person external to a group, whose purpose is to help things run more smoothly.
Fact Something that is known to have happened, or is known to be true.
Family court A court that hears cases relating to families such as divorce and custody of children.
