Assessment
Each unit ends with a quiz of multiple-choice questions designed to help you find out how well the students have understood and remembered the information. These are in addition to the online activities, which involve some written input from the students to print out and keep as evidence.
In addition, the activity sheets on a range of topics will reinforce the learning and we have provided a template for a student self-assessment sheet which you can use if required.
Case studies
In between the activities, there is a series of case studies relating to the issues and concepts introduced through the units. These have been based on real life cases and not only provide additional learning but can also be used as:
• Topics for discussion.
• A springboard for further research.
• Stimulus for role play.
You may want to ask the students to consider the following questions when they work with each case study:
• What dispute is being described?
• Who is involved?
• If not, which other process was used to reach a settlement? • If not, which other process was used to reach a settlement? |
