14–19 reforms

In line with the 14–19 reforms, Your Justice Your World supports the development of Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS).

The six areas covered in PLTS are:

  • Independent enquiry
  • Creative thinking
  • Reflective learning
  • Team working
  • Self-management
  • Effective participation

In working through the activities, the students will be employing all six of these skills, especially effective participation, creative thinking and independent enquiry.

Your Justice Your World and Functional Skills

Functional skills are a feature of the 14–19 reforms, and the aspiration is to integrate them into all subjects across the curriculum. There is ample scope in Your justice Your World for the students to apply their knowledge and understanding of English, Maths and ICT.
