Can they write a paragraph explaining why they think   this right is important? What would be the consequences on their   own life, and the lives of others if it were violated?Activity sheet 2 also supports the learning. Activity sheet 1 - Living in your communityThe students consider what they need in their community to stay safe and   happy, and write their top three priorities.
 Activity sheet 2 - Human rights and the lawThe students select three rights from a list of 15 and explain what life in their   community would be like if these rights did not exist.
