| Activity: Serving a sentence

In this activity, the children read about four people who have a different experience of dealing with the law. The children find out that not everyone who breaks the law goes to prison.
Discussion
Talk about each case and check that the children understand all the terms.
Extension activity
Find out about some other non-custodial sentences and ask the children to comment on the fairness of the sentence. |
